Ula Razmuk

Ula has been weaving mandalas - Ojos de Dios (The Eye of God) - since 2014 when she learned the art while living in Brazil. Since then weaving has been her travel companion through other South American countries to now settle in Switzerland.

Her mandalas are made using cotton yarn and different types of cord, and are often decorated with wooden, metal and glass beads. In some of her works gem stones and crystals are used for good energy and protection.

Being a minimalist the practical aspect of art is important to her. She gathers ideas how to make mandalas into something more practical and decorative at the same time. Mirror mandalas and Christmas tree decorations are one of the them. Inspired by children and their fascination with colours she has recently started making mandala mobiles for children's rooms.

Her mandalas decorate homes in various places on the globe.

Originally from Poland, living and creating in Switzerland. She is studying to be a Waldorf kindergarten teacher and often organizes weaving workshops where children and adults are welcomed to create their own unique Ojos.
