Tania Efimova

Tatjana Efimova by Folt Bolt

My name is Tania Efimova, I am an illustrator and a graphic designer. I like unusual fragrances, traveling and meeting new people, constantly learning something new. Such experiences give me the inspiration I need to create and draw. After graduating from the Belorussian State Academy of Arts, I have been working as a graphic designer for a very long time in a lot of different offices in Minsk. Later I have moved to Lithuania, closer to the sea. There I have been creating websites.

I have travelled to Europe a little, but now I am mostly interested in Asia.

I travel, draw pictures about my travels and write stories in my blog "Voyages in Illustrations" (in Russian) http://blog.t-island.com/

Editorial board of "Life is interesting" invited me to make an illustration for the upcoming issue cover. Also, they have asked me to explain what "interesting life" means to me personally. My answer: First of all, for me it means a constant interchange of places. Ideally, I would like to continue moving from one country to another, at the same time getting to know the local atmosphere and pace of life, learning languages.

And to travel to as many countries as I possibly can! Hopefully, my energy and life conditions allow me to do so... The most amusing thing is that you never know where you might end up and what is waiting for you just around the corner. This uncertainty is what makes life so interesting, sometimes strange and unbelievably wonderful.

On the whole, I have just two wishes: may there be no visas anymore and may traveling with cats become effortlessly easy. At some point in my life I have realized that for internal stability I need two things: constant change of places and drawing. For now I can say that my life incorporates more and more of these two things. Welcome to my page — my harbor where drawings, illustrations, emotions and a lot of various stories found there home.
