Ernestina Gallina - Pietrevive

Hi, welcome to my rock world! I am Ernestina, a selftaught artist living in Italy. I love to paint rocks, they are a simple, ordinary, commonplace material, but, with careful decoration, they can capture real animals and set free the nature that lies hidden within them.

My painted stones are a product of my creativity and imagination, combined with the inspiration from the rock's natural shapes. I named them "Pietrevive", in english "Livingrocks" beacuse with them I strive to capture realism and express the beauty of nature.

There is nothing that gives me more joy than when someone mistakes them for real animals at a first glance, or when they want to touch them. That is my greatest reward.
